CANDLE CARE:

• • FIRST LIGHT:
  • For optimal scent diffusion and an extended candle life, the first burn must be long enough for a full melt pool to be created.
  • Candle wax has "memory," so if it is extinguished with a partial melt pool, that will prevent a full, even pool from forming in the future. This is called "tunneling."
  • THE WICK:
  • Center and trim your wick to 1/4" (mm) prior to each lighting.
  • Use a wick trimmer for best results. 
  • STORING:
  • Store candles flat in a cool, dark, and dry place.
  • Do not allow wick trimmings, dust, or other materials to accumulate in the wax pool.
  • BURNING:
  • Optimal burn time is 2-3 hours, NO more than 4.
  • Ensure that your candle is placed on a heat-safe surface.
  • Avoid drafty areas.
  • Never burn candles unattended, or on/near anything flammable.
  • Keep out of reach from children and pets. 
  • EXTINGUISHING:
  • Do not blow out candles, this could cause the wax to spray out of the vessel.
  • If using a lid, quickly extinguish the flame and remove the lid until the smoke has dissipated. Leaving the lid on could cause soot to settle at the top of your candle.
  • Use a candle snuffer or wick dipper for best results.
